FRIENDS OF THE YEADON PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Friends of Yeadon Public Library is a non-profit organization designed to stimulate community interest in Library services and support the Library in providing these services.

"FRIENDS" are those citizens who regard the Library as a vital information agency, a cultural center and a major educational institution. They know that a community is a better place in which to live if it has a first rate Library.

WHAT DO FRIENDS DO?

Through a program of volunteer, promotional and fundraising activities, they help to acquire important materials and equipment, and fund programs that are beyond the confines of the Library's regular budget. They also aim to inform the community of the Library's resources, services and needs.

WHY DO WE NEED GOOD FRIENDS?

The Library would like to offer the citizens of Yeadon increased services and programs, but we need your help. Your interest, assistance and contributions will help make our Library an outstanding cultural and educational center dedicated to serving our entire community. Whether as fundraisers, volunteers or advocates, an organized Friends group is living proof of the Library's value to the community.
